Current Status of Research Progress

2: Research has progressed on the whole more than it was originally planned.

Reason

The research works have been smoothly in progress as initially planned. There were some obstacles in accessing and collecting data because both Japan and Korea have few female leaders in business. However, such difficulty was anticipated at the stage of planning the research and so, strategic plans were designed in advance to overcome the obstacles. Therefore, it is positively anticipated that current and future works will be smoothly progressed following the research plan.

Strategy for Future Research Activity

The future works will be carried out with a main focus on 1) quality data collection, 2) data analysis, and 3) report of findings. Data collection will be completed within 7 to 10 month both in Japan and Korea. Survey data will be conducted first by hiring reliable survey agencies and then collecting interview data will be followed. After completing the data collection, statistical analysis using statistical tools will be conducted. Such work will be taken around 2 to 3 months. Findings derived from the analysis will be summarized and reported to local and international conferences related to the topic. By obtaining feedback from the conferences, writing a journal will be in progress.
