Outline of Final Research Achievements |
The main focus of the research was gathering information from NGOs and other people in the field on the effectiveness of responses to gender and family violence in Japan and other countries. Mostly this was done through direct interviews. The Covid-19 pandemic had a significant on the project, causing several delays and making collaboration and participation in international events and fieldwork, in Japan and elsewhere, quite difficult. However, extensions to the length of the project helped overcome this. I presented research papers based upon this research at 11 International conferences, and conducted 1 invited guest lecture, during the period of the project. I also gave one interview on the subject to a national tv station. The main findings of the research were shared in one (single author) peer reviewed paper, 3 (co-authored) book chapters, and 3 (single author) book chapters.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
