Outline of Final Research Achievements

In this study, we developed the Intimate Partner Violence during Pregnancy Instrument Revised (IPVPI-R) using the information from local governments’ pregnancy notification forms. Furthermore, we applied the IPVIP-R for an intellectual property rights (2020-089105).

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements

妊娠中のDVは支援者が把握しづらい現状がある。IPVPI-Rの開発により、妊娠時の情報から、妊娠中にDVを受けている可能性の高い妊婦を早期に把握し、必要な支援につなげることが可能になる。また知的財産権を得ることにより、今後多くの自治体で、妊娠中のDVの把握が適切に行われることが期待される。
