認知症の方では、記憶障害により社会生活上様々な問題が起きているにもかかわらず、上手に相手に話をあわせて、忘れてしまったことを憶えているかのように振る舞う態度がみられることがある。このようなコミュニケーションのパターンは取り繕い反応と呼ばれ、認知症の治療やケアに関わる専門職においては、良く知られた反応のひとつである。本研究では、これまで、実証的データに乏しいものであった取り繕い反応を客観的に評価し、関連する神経基盤や影響する要因について検討を行う。
今年度は研究に係るデータの収集を行い、現時点での研究成果を第38回日本認知症学会学術集会において口頭発表を行った。今後はデータの収集を継続するとともに、解析方法の検討を行い、論文発表のための準備を行う。
