Outline of Final Research Achievements

Erosion is one of the main drivers that shapes the Earth's surface. This study developed methodologies in geochronology to improve the analytical techniques for measuring in-situ-produced cosmogenic nuclides. The results allowed us to obtain remarkably fast erosion rates and young exposure ages. We reconstructed the changes in erosion rates over the last twenty thousand years.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements
