Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本研究課題では,ナノ界面に誘起される流れを用いた微粒子の秩序構造形成と選択的粒子輸送法の開発という課題名のもと,3つのテーマを設定していた:【課題I】ナノ界面における流体運動の解明と粒子運動への影響,【課題II】ナノ・マイクロ粒子の自己集合化とパターン形成によるマクロ秩序構造の解析,【課題III】ナノ・マイクロ粒子の選択的操作手法および輸送法の提案と実践.課題Iでは,計測系の根幹となるシステムの構築を行った.具体的には,3種類の波長のレーザーを倒立顕微鏡に導入しマイクロ流路に照射する実験系の開発を行い,ベンチマーク実験に成功している.課題IIでは,2方向撮影による3次元的な粒子運動の観察を国際会議論文にて報告した (T. Tsuji, et al., Proc. SPIE, 11141, OMC-P-02, 3 pages (2019)).また,ナノ流路中での光圧を用いたクラスタ形成と評価を行い,学術雑誌にオープンアクセス論文として発表した(T. Tsuji, et al., Microfluid. Nanofluid. 126 (2019)).課題IIIでは,微細加工技術により作製したマイクロヒーターを用いて局所的な温度勾配を流体中に形成した.この温度勾配による熱泳動を使って,分岐マイクロ流路中のナノ粒子流の分離を達成し,オープンアクセス論文として発表した(T. Tsuji, et al., Micromachines 321 (2019)).加えて,光圧と熱泳動力の協奏によるプラズモニックナノ粒子の選択的捕捉も提案した(K. Setoura, T. Tsuji, et al., Nanoscale 11 (2019)).
