津波避難訓練と地域防災計画の相互反映についてさらに分析を進め、その成果を論文にまとめIDRiM ジャーナルにおいて発表した。
"Feedback Process of a Tsunami Evacuation Plan Using Quantitative Data of Drills for Supporting Vulnerable People in a Community"
災害時要援護者の津波避難の搬送速度に関して「災害時要援護者の市街地津波避難の搬送速度に関する実験」日本建築学会(2016)に発表した論文を、"Feasibility of Evacuating Vulnerable People During a tsunami: Comparing assistant velocities with a wheelchair, transport chair, and rollator on three different inclines outdoors"と題し、Japan Architecture Review において英語翻訳論文として発表した。
地域住民による要援護者の津波避難訓練に関して「市街地の津波避難訓練における住民による災害時要援護者の搬送速度と輸送力」日本建築学会(2017)に発表した論文を、"Velocity and Transportation Ability of Transporting Vulnerable People during Tsunami Evacuation Drill in a Community Outdoor evacuation with rollator, transport chair, wheelchair, and cart in Shinyo Bokomi, Kobe, Japan" という題で、Japan Architecture Review において英語翻訳論文として発表した。
また、１１月には高知県内の複数の津波避難タワーを含む市街地にて、避難訓練の計測を行い、同時にアンケート調査もおこなった。

研究の成果として、現時点までに論文発表4本、学会発表2本をおこなった。
上記研究実績の概要に加えて、2019年10月16日にIDRiM学会にて"Types of formation for supporting vulnerable people during tsunami evacuation"の題で、住民による津波避難支援方法について発表を行った。

| Strategy for Future Research Activity |
新型コロナウィルスの影響にも左右されるが、和歌山県、兵庫県、および高知県など、津波が想定される地域において、避難訓練の観察をさらに進める。また上記の訓練観察で得た、避難データを分析することによって、今後津波が想定される地域における円滑な避難の推進に資する知見を導くことができるよう、最終年度に向けて、論文の執筆を行っていきたい。
