Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This study aims to clarify some characteristics of Shinto priests’ houses in Kyoto during the Edo period. I researched what the process of application for extending or renovating houses in the Kamigamo district was. I also researched when and why the boxed ridge was adopted at Kamowakeikazuchi Shrine. Furthermore, I researched a shrine in the garden and a room.
