Outline of Annual Research Achievements

The research in FY2018 mainly focused on developing emulsion-based, continuous flow syntheses of several important zeolites, including ERI, *BEA and CHA. The emulsion system together with a Teflon-lined pipe reactor offered a unique opportunity to address the viscosity issue, allowing the establishment of the continuous flow synthesis。

Reason

The research progress was rather smooth thanks to the strong team who worked collaboratively and creatively towards industrialization of the continuous flow synthesis.

Strategy for Future Research Activity

In the next stage, the research will focus on developing ultrafast and continuous flow processes for post-synthesis treatment of zeolites.
