2019 Fiscal Year Research-status Report

Emulsion-Based Continuous Flow Synthesis of Zeolites

Research Project

Project/Area Number 18K14049
Research InstitutionThe University of Tokyo

Principal Investigator

LIU ZHENDONG  東京大学, 大学院工学系研究科(工学部), 特任助教 (70816983)

Project Period (FY) 2018-04-01 – 2021-03-31
Keywordszeolite / NH3-SCR / emission control / methane utilization
Outline of Annual Research Achievements

The research in FY2019 focused on exploring the properties of the ERI zeolite, whose synthesis was discovered in FY2018. Its applications in NH3-SCR and MtM were investigated in detail. In addition, post-synthesis modifications of zeolite were also studied.

Current Status of Research Progress
Current Status of Research Progress

1: Research has progressed more than it was originally planned.

Reason

The research progressed more smoothly than initially planned because of intensive collaborations with internal and external experts.

Strategy for Future Research Activity

This research will continue the efforts in both direct synthesis and post-synthesis modifications of zeolites synthesized with and without involving the emulsion method.
