Outline of Annual Research Achievements	悪性腫瘍の進行の過程で、腫瘍細胞の動態に関する特性は極めて重要な因子であると以前から認識されてきたが、細胞の動態に関わる情報を従来の組織標本から取得するのは困難であった。本研究では、生体イメージング技術を用いてモデル動物を観察し、腫瘍の増大・進行過程における腫瘍細胞の動態を可視化した。そして腫瘍の進行を早期に検出でき、臨床医学でのがん組織診断に応用できるような因子の抽出を行った。さらに、確立した評価系がヒト組織でも実際に適用できることを見出した。
