Outline of Annual Research Achievements

脊髄損傷マウス(SCI)の下部尿路機能障害に対する新規ウイルスベクターを用いた治療薬の開発を目的として実験を開始した。昨年に引き続きSCIを下部尿路機能障害モデル動物として使用し、TRPV1の活性を抑えるヘルペスウイルスベクターをSCIマウスの膀胱壁に注入した。ウイルスは脊髄後根神経節に到達していることが、免疫染色で確認できた。
膀胱内圧測定の結果、SCIによるnonvoiding contraction（NVC）を優位に減少させることができた。また、膀胱組織においてTRPV1のリン酸化を減少させている事も分かった。この様にウイルスベクターを用いたTRPV1の抑制は脊髄損傷後の排尿筋過活動の治療になる可能性が示唆された。
