前年度に報告した論文に続き、ポリープ状脈絡膜血管症に対し光線力学的療法と抗血管新生薬の併用療法を施行した患者の長期成績について原著論文"Long-term prognosis of polypoidal choroidal vasculopathy with a 5-year remission after an initial combination therapy. (Photodiagnosis Photodyn Ther. 2021 Sep;35:102453.)"にまとめて発表した。論文中で、長期経過観察できた症例につき、再発群と寛解群に分けて比較し、寛解群では加齢黄斑変性感受性遺伝子のリスクアレルの頻度が有意に少ないことを報告した。また、前年度に論文報告した研究内容について、第125回日本眼科学会総会において学術展示発表（演題：治療前視力良好な未治療加齢黄斑変性に対するアフリベルセプト硝子体注射の5年成績）を行った。
