2019年12月から2021年2月まで産前・産後の休暇、育児休業を取得していた。
2020年度の学会では、昨年度 (2019年度) の計測・解析により得られた結果を発表した。その内容は昨年度の研究実績に記載したものである。他に、functional near-infrared spectroscopyを計測に用いた原著論文2本の発行、シンポジウムの招待講演1回、学会発表1件に共同研究者として貢献した。
2021年3月に復帰してからは、研究の再開に向け体制を整えた。
