Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This study investigated kinematics, kinetics, morphologic and physical fitness of male and female sprinters, to clarify the characteristics of sprinters who are good at sprinting on curved tracks.
Male sprinters with larger circumference of thigh were better at sprinting on curve, however there were no difference in kinematics, kinetics and physical fitness between good and poor sprinters on curved sprinting. Therefore, in the future, it may be necessary to investigate the morphology of muscles in more detail, or use other approaches, such as using EMG.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
