Outline of Annual Research Achievements

複数関節かつ時間変化する身体運動データと、運動の実行結果の関係性を推定する手法を提案した(Furuki & Takiyama, 2019, 2020, Takiyama+, 2020)。従来、身体運動データの特定の要素に限定して実行結果との関係性を推定する枠組みや (e.g., goal-equivalent manifold, tolerance-noise-covariance analysis)、複数関節かつ時間変化する身体運動データを考慮するものの運動の実行結果との関連性は議論しない枠組み(e.g., uncontrolled manifold, principal component analysis)が主流であった。すなわち、複数関節かつ時間変化する身体運動データを考慮しながら、身体運動データと運動の実行結果の関連性を議論する枠組みは稀有であった。本研究では、これらの既存の枠組みの利点の統合かつ欠点の克服を可能とする手法を提案・発展させることに成功した。さらに、提案手法は比較的シンプルな機械学習手法を利用したデータ駆動型の手法であり、運動パターンや計測した運動データの種類に依存せず、普遍的に利用可能な手法である。加えて、運動学習と身体運動データの関連性の議論もまた可能となった(Furuki & Takiyama, 2019, 2020)。従来個別に議論されていた身体運動制御と身体運動学習であったが、本研究提案により、身体運動制御と身体運動学習を統合的に扱う枠組みの礎を整える第一歩を踏み出せたと言えよう。
