| Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
As described in proposal, the main aim is to elucidate the mechanism and biomechanical factors of grip and pinch. Custom made pinch grip gauge and dynamometer were used to measure the pinch and grip. The pinch gauge and dynamometer are width-adjustable.
Experiment 1 is conducted and completed. First stage of data analysis is completed and manuscript is written according to the obtained data. Experiment 2 is undergoing to investigate the force impact on hand during hand tool manipulation.

3: Progress in research has been slightly delayed.
Reason
A new custom-made force measurement equipment is prepared for Experiment 2. The project is facing difficult in analog data synchronization with designated movements. Therefore, several feasibility studies were conducted prior to Experiment 2.
