4 new Masters and PhD level projects launched on topics : magnetic modular robots, hydrogel robots (including new collaboration with Kyoto University chemistry dept.), neuro-haptic therapy, efficient communication strategies for energy autonomous robots, robots for aquaponic farms (collaboraion with Karsruhe institue of technology). New industrial collaboration with Horimasa City farm (Energy Autonomous robots in farming). Co-chaired (exhibition chair) international symposium on art and technology (Art Innovation 2019) including public exhibition across 3 venues in Kyoto. One journal publication, one conference paper and extended abstract in review, and one late breaking abstract presented at international conference Robosoft 2019.
