Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This study analyzes the changes in the immigration policy of Spain as a latecomer to receiving immigrants and the reaction of the Spanish civil society over the past 20 years that saw a large-scale influx of immigrants. Through this study it was found that the Spanish civil society has accepted the influx of immigrants in various situations of domestic politics such as having prominent regionalism while enjoying several advantages of latecomers.

21世紀の移民受け入れ後発国が、グローバルな経済状況や近隣諸国との関係性とともに、市民社会の自律や地域主義の高揚といった国内政治情勢のなかで独自の政治的バランスをとりながら移民の社会統合政策を推進してきた過程を分析することができた。
