Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Asymmetrical z-bar linkage precursor was organically synthesized aiming at ferromagnetic graphene nanoribbons. We tried to fabricate GNRs using our developed two-zone chemical vapor deposition method. Although expected GNRs were not produced, two-dimensional organized structures were observed. Annealing process over 400 degrees is the reason to produce such structures due to intermolecular coupling of GNRs via decomposition of functional groups. These results will provide a useful knowledge to fulfill out goal.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
