Outline of Final Research Achievements

Candida albicans is known as one of the commensal fungi in humans. The fungus is also known as a causative agent that drives life-threatening invasive infections. Here we show that colonization of C. albicans in the guts induce host protection against systemic C. albicans infection.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements
