Outline of Final Research Achievements |
It remains unclear how senescent cells escape senolytic immune surveillance to accumulate with age. Lack of adequate animal models makes it difficult to investigate these issues related to accumulation of senescent cells with aging. Therefore, this study is designed to investigate the molecular mechanisms underlying accumulation of senescent cells that contributes to pathological aging by establishing various animal models.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
