Outline of Final Research Achievements

Although apathy is known to indicate higher risk of dementia incidence in the setting of memory clinic, its predictive value in community dwellers remains to be elucidated. The present study suggests that apathy symptoms are informative to predict dementia in sub groups of community dwellers, including younger olds and those with mildly declined performance in cognitive tests.
