| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
In this research project, we studied search interaction to promote active and self-directive judgment on information credibility so that users can judge information credibility by themselves during web search and browsing. We focused on the following three topics: (1) Analysis of the relationship between critical people and their web search behaviors. (2) Search interaction with nudges to make users feel the necessity of critical information seeking. (3) "Questioning" interaction to encourage exploratory search.

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
ウェブ情報は玉石混淆である．それゆえ，信憑性を意識したウェブ情報検索・閲覧は重要な課題である．フェイクニュース等の誤ったウェブ情報を自動検出する技術が開発されつつあるが，計算機の力を持ってしてもウェブ上の誤情報を完全に見抜くことは容易ではない．本研究課題では，ユーザ自身の情報精査能力や態度を高めることに着目することで，誤ったウェブ情報の取得やそれによる誤った意思決定の回避に貢献できる知見を得た．これらの知見は，情報技術の過度なユーザ適応が進む中で，ユーザの情報技術・ウェブ社会に適応する力を高めることにも寄与する．本研究課題の研究成果が今後のウェブ社会に与えるインパクトはきわめて大きいと考える.
