Research Abstract

高速重イオンが単結晶中の周期配列中を通過する際、イオンは時間とともに変化する振動電場を感じるために、その内部準位は共鳴的に励起される。コヒーレント共鳴励起と呼ばれるこの過程において、数10ギガ電子ボルトの高エネルギー重イオンを用意することによって、X線領域に相当する準位間遷移が可能になる。本研究では、この共鳴励起を利用した光を使わない量子状態の操作や、精密原子分光法としての原子物理における新しい可能性を探る。
