Research Abstract

本研究の目的は,シリコンの立体構造およびマイクロアクチュエータとGaN系光源デバイスをモノリシックに集積することで,高機能で集積度の高い光応用のマイクロシステム(MEMS:マイクロ電気機械システム)を実現することである.
具体的には次の4点である.(1)平面Si基板へGaN半導体を成長後,MEMS加工を施す手法の確立,(2)Si基板にMEMS基本構造を加工後にGaN半導体結晶を成長し,デバイスを製作する方法の確立.(3)Ga半導体のMEMS加工法の開発.(4)具体的なGaN-Si複合光MEMSとして,照明方向を制御できる配光光源,バイオ分析用集積型マイクロ分光システム,光スキャナー,波長可変レーザ,光インターコネクションなどを研究する
