Research Abstract

申請者のグループでは光の細胞透過性に着目し、細胞内のチミンを5-ハロウラシルで置換し、その光反応性を用いてDNAの構造解析を行なうことを目指し基礎研究を進めてきた。本研究では、DNAの構造と機能の制御に関する化学的研究を推進することによって、遺伝子発現に連動したDNAのダイナミックな構造変化を解明し、特定遺伝子の一般的な発現制御法の開拓を目的としている
