Research Abstract

持続可能、永続可能社会への移行の緊急性に対する問題意識は広く社会に浸透しており、その実現に不可欠な次世代のエネルギー貯蔵変換デバイスの開発が強く望まれている。特に、自動車用途や電力貯蔵用途を中心とした高機能大型蓄電池への期待は極めて大きい。本研究では、リチウム電池における局在電子系電極材料にその活路を見出す。本来不活性と考えられてきた材料群において見出した高い電極機能発現機構を解明・体系化し、得られた指標に基づく材料開発を展開する。
