Research Abstract

本年度は、高効率な超広帯域テラヘルツ波発生および分光応用、疑似CWテラヘルツ波発生、BAN結晶の最適化および耐損傷閾値向上につい検討を行った。
1.高効率・超広帯域テラヘルツ分光システムの開発。
DAST・BNAにおける最適励起2波長のルックアップテーブルの完成に伴い、追尾型2波長独立光源を用いて発生周波数ごとに最適条件の追従が可能となった。これにより、DAST・BNA各結晶を用いたテラヘルツ波発生において従来の2~10倍の高出力発生に成功した。BNA結晶に関しては発生周波数域0.1THzから20THzまで拡大し、高効率・広帯域発生が実現できた。広帯域性能と周波数スイッチング性能を活かし、高確度分光へと展開し広帯或テラヘルツ分光装置のシステム化を行った。
2.超高繰返しテラヘルツ波発生用励起2波長光源の開発
擬似CWテラヘルツ波発生実現の為、超高繰返し励起2波長光源の開発を行った。励起レーザーに高繰返しピコ秒レーザーを用い、sub-MHz繰返し動作において励起2波長の発生を確認する事に成功した。この繰返し動作は従来の1000倍の高速性能であり、高S/N・高スループットに大きな期待が出来る。
3.BNA結晶の最適化および耐損傷閾値向上ついての検討
BNA結晶の耐損傷閾値の向上の為、これまでの融液からの垂直ブリッジマン法による単結晶育成に加え、メタノールを用いた過飽和溶液からの自然核発生・単結晶成長にも成功した。X線回折による配向や完全性の評価を行い良質な結晶を得る事が出来た。溶液成長によるBNA結晶において、レーザーに対する耐損傷閾値は、従来法に比べ約20%向上が達成された。
