Research Abstract

本研究班を構成する下記の4グループが中国周縁国を訪問し,のべ4回にわたって現地調査を行った.その要は下記の通りである.
1.オオムギ・コムギグループ;ロシア・N.I.ヴァヴィロフ研究所の協力の下に,タジキスタンおよびウズベキスタンにおいてオオムギおよびコムギ遺伝資源の調査・収集を行った.タジキスタンでの調査は国土の西部を中心に,6月17日から7日間行った.採集地点は標高564m～1893mの38ヵ所で,コムギ・オオムギの栽培種および近縁植物の合計126点を収集した.ウズベキスタンにおいては,東部および北部を中心に7月11日から13日間調査を行った.採集地点は標高221m～1,809mの93ヵ所であり,オオムギおよびコムギの栽培種および近縁植物を約300点採集した.
2.ダイズグループ;2月25日から3月4日まで,昆明植物研究所の協力の下,中国雲南省西北部のダイズ遺伝資源調査を行った.全体で20系統(在来系統と改良系統を含む)を収集した.収集されたダイズは主に黄ダイズであったが,地域により種皮色が緑または茶の在来系統が栽培されていた.これらについて種子の成分組成などの解析を進める.
3.メロングループ;11月4日から14日まで,昆明植物研究所との共同研究として,雲南省南西部の少数民族地域においてCucumis属の栽培植物および野生種(C.hystrix. C.hardwickii)の調査を行った.その結果,9地点においてC.hystrxの成熟果実を採集することができた.C.hardwickiiについては,雲南省で採取された〓葉標本が昆明植物研究所に保管されていたが,今回の現地調査では発見することができなかった.
