Research Abstract

Aiming the application to an interactive system, e.g. scenery simulation system, we developed the following technologies for efficiently producing computer animations of natural phenomena :
1. Efficient Animation Technologies
1.1 Noise-based animation techniques
1.2 Hybrid animation techniques
2. Efficient and High-quality Point-based CG Technologies
2.1 Polygon-oriented point-based CG techniques
2.2 Particle-simulation-oriented point-based CG techniques
