Research Abstract

NZOマウスは、肥満、高血圧に加え、高インスリン血症、インスリン抵抗性、トリグリセライド血症等の糖代謝および脂質代謝異常異常を発症することよりメタボリックシンドロームのモデルとして注目されているが、その責任遺伝子は現在まで未同定である。そこで本研究ではNZOマウスのメタボリックシンドローム発症における責任染色体の決定およびメタボリックシンドローム研究のためのコンソミックマウスモデルの開発の」ため、NZO/HIマウスおよびC3H/HeJマウスのF2子孫におけるグルコースレベル、インスリンレベル、レプチンレベルおよび体重を支配する量的形質遺伝子座(QTL)解析、制限給餌によるNZO/HIマウスの糖尿病発症遅延と繁殖効率増加への影響の検討、NZO/HILtJ-Chr<C3H/HeJ>/Utrマウスの作製、NZO/HILtJ-Chr<C3H/HeJ>/Utrマウスの形質評価を実施した。
