| Research Abstract |
腰部脊柱管狭窄症に対する最小侵襲手術を目的とした、棘突起間留置型スペーサーとその挿入/抜去システムを考案した。この基本アイデアをもとに、1)実際の患者のレントゲンやCT計測によりスペーサーのサイズやバリエーションを決定し、2)ご遺体や大型動物を用いた実験を行い、手技面のことも含めたスペーサーの改良/開発をすすめ、3)臨床応用への前段階として、大型動物実験を施行して安全性や有効性に関するデータを収集した。4)これらの成果を部分的に学会等で発表した。
