Research Abstract |
Highly-sensitive, simple and rapid immunoassay systems have been prepared for the determination of multianalyte involving biomarkers whose concentrations in biological fluids are as low as pM-levels. Chemical amplification techniques have been developed and used for enhancing the sensitivity, and microfluidic devices have been employed for serving simple and rapid assay procedure. A "drop-and-sip" fluid-handling technique and a particle-manipulation technique based on dielectrophoresis have successfully applied for developing pump-free immunosensing devices.
