Research Abstract

近年、放射線の利用分野は拡大し、特に放射線治療などの医学・医療分野への重要性が高まっている。そして、この分野における放射線利用技術の高度化を進めるためには、放射線ビーム利用を対象とする先端工学と医学・医療分野等の複合領域における研究や技術開発が不可欠となっている。本研究では、ミクロな視点から、医学・医療分野における放射線利用技術の高度化を図った。具体的には、単一細胞の放射線影響を調べるために、細胞核の大きさのビーム径を有する卓上型X線マイクロビーム照射装置を開発した。さらに、培養細胞PC12の放射線照射効果を利用して、このX線マイクロビームを用いた培養細胞の分化誘導技術を開発した。
