Research Abstract

天然ガスやバイオマスを水素や合成ガス(一酸化炭素と水素の混合ガス)へと変換する触媒の開発において、主たる活性点となるニッケルの金属微粒子を微量の貴金属で表面修飾することで触媒性能が顕著に向上させることができる。本研究では、EXAFS(広域X線吸収端微細構造)により微量貴金属の局所構造を解析し、その局所構造の生成過程と添加効果発現機構を明らかにした。
