Research Abstract |
Protein traffic in apoplast has been considered to play central role in controlling cell wall remodeling during plant morphogenesis, but is still unknown. We have performed a proteomic analysis to investigate changed in protein modification in apoplastic proteins secreted from Arabidopsis root. We have identified several genes encoding peptidase CIA family of proteins, whose isozyme patterns change during root differentiation processes.
