Research Abstract

植物は、温度や水分環境の変化に応答して自らの生育や生理状態を変化させることにより、厳しい生育環境にも耐えることができるようになる。本研究課題では、高温・水分ストレス応答で働く転写因子DREB2Aについて、それを活性化させる仕組みについて明らかにするとともに、高温・水分ストレス応答における標的遺伝子を探索し、ストレス耐性遺伝子の発現制御ネットワークを分子レベルで明らかにする。
