Research Abstract |
相同組換えの中心酵素Rad52は、複製チャックポイントの欠損株で誘導される通常は活性化しない複製開始点領域に蓄積後、SUMO修飾を受けることを明らかにした。Rad52のSUMO化には、Rad52のオリゴマー形成、核への移行などが事前に必要であり、Rad52が機能する場にリクルートされてSUMO化を受け、Rad51の一本鎖DNAへのリクルートを部分的に促進し、それとカップルしてRad52の脱SUMO化が起こる制御機構を世界ではじめて提唱した。
