| Research Abstract |
We have confirmed the validity of standard DNA barcoding region in the mitochondrial COI gene for species determination in parasitic wasps, developed protocols to extract DNA from a whole body of minute parasitic wasps without critical damages to external morphology as a voucher specimen, collected species records in Japan, designed the interface of supporting system for species identification, and thus established a technical base for DNA barcoding of parasitic wasps.
