Research Abstract |
Two approaches, named multi-template approach (focusing on three dimensional structure of the scaffold and its receptor) and dramatype approach (focusing on conformational change, time-dependent presence, trafficking, and/or stability of the receptor), have been proposed for the methodology to create various categories of biologically active compounds, including nuclear receptor ligands and thalidomide-related derivatives. Some unique active compounds were made commercially available as reagents.
