Research Abstract

C型肝炎ウイルス(HCV)の感染機構を解析するために、HCVのエンベロープ遺伝子を組み込んだ、自立増殖可能な組換え水疱性口内炎ウイルスの作製に成功した。また、HCVの成熟、複製、そして病原性発現に関与する宿主因子を複数同定し、これらの宿主因子を標的とした、耐性株の出現しにくい、新規C型肝炎治療薬開発の可能性を提示した。
