Research Abstract

様々な脳疾患の防御に重要な生体内機能分子の役割を解明するため、研究を遂行し下記の成果を得た。胎仔由来神経保護物質であるセロフェンド酸が作用を発現する際に重要な直接のターゲット分子の候補タンパクが見出された。また、セロフェンド酸は末梢投与においてもin vivoにおける虚血障害に対して保護的に働くことが明らかとなった。ニコチン受容体関連では、アストロサイトにおけるα7受容体発現にはニューロンとの接触によるシグナルが重要な役割を果たしていることを見出した。
