Research Abstract

肝臓において生活習慣病の治療効果を有する転写因子TFE3がエネルギー代謝責任臓器において、糖・脂質代謝を調節し生活習慣病病態の改善に機能するかを検討した。骨格筋および脂肪組織におけるTFE3の機能を解析した。TFE3は骨格筋ではT筋肉内グリコーゲン量の上昇活性、脂肪組織では脂肪分化、蓄積の抑制活性を有する。TFE3が様々な組織で多面的に生活習慣病の改善に機能することが示された。
