Research Abstract

加齢による卵巣機能の低下は、生理的な環境変化によって卵子の有する受精能力が障害を受けた結果として生じる可能性がある。そこで、損傷を受けた卵子の機能を回復させるための培養法の開発が必要である。しかし、卵子の受精能力に関する科学的な知見が不足しているため、培養方法や培養液の組成が十分に検証できないのが現状である。そこで、本研究では、卵子のもつ受精能力に関する基礎的研究を行った。具体的には、卵子の膜融合関連因子CD9およびCD9を含むエキソソー(exosome)の機能解析を行った。更に、チューブリンss2A(tubb2A)の機能に注目して研究を行い、微小管の重合促進・重合阻害によって受精能力を制御する方法を開発することをめざした研究を行った。
