Research Abstract

増殖糖尿病網膜症に伴う網膜前増殖組織やモデルマウス網膜に対し、初めて包括的遺伝子発現解析を行った。増殖組織に発現する遺伝子群は、細胞生理反応、代謝、ストレス反応、細胞間コミュニケーションなどに分類でき、新生血管のみに局在するtumor endothelial marker 7遺伝子を含んでいた。網膜前増殖の前駆病変である虚血マウス網膜の包括遺伝子発現解析では、虚血に伴い解糖系、免疫やアポトーシス関連遺伝子の発現レベルが変化していた。本研究により、包括的遺伝子発現解析が、真に患者様に役立つ診断や治療の分子標的同定に有用である可能性が示唆された。
