Research Abstract

本研究はアジア。アフリカにおけるバベシア症の浸潤・流行状況を明らかにし、日本の輸入検疫体制強化とアジア・アフリカの原虫病診断技術の向上と普及に貢献することを最終目的とし、以下の項目について検討を行う。
1)牛、馬のバベシア症に対する血清学的調査(ELISA,イムノクロマト法)
2)牛、馬のバベシア症に対する遺伝子学的調査(PCR、遺伝子配列解析)
3)媒介ダニに関する調査(ダニの種同定、原虫の検出)
4)現地に適した診断・予防法の確立
5)日本の輸入検疫関連機関への適切な提言。
