Research Abstract

神経系に高発現するRhoGAP蛋白質p250GAPの神経細胞の形態制御における機能について解析を行った。その結果、(1)p250GAPは神経細胞のスパイン形態制御分子であること(2)NMDA型グルタミン酸受容体を介したRhoA の活性調節に重要であること、及び(3)p250GAPのホモログであるTCGAPも神経細胞の形態を制御していることを見出した。
