| Research Abstract |
本研究では, 重症呼吸不全患者(主にCOPD)に対する呼吸リハビリテーションにおいて最も重要であり, かつEvidence が高いことが明らかとなっている下肢筋力トレーニング法について, 機能的電気刺激(以下, EMS)を併用した新しい運動療法プログラムを開発し
その効果を, 従来のプログラムとの比較から検証することを目的とした。その結果, EMS トレーニングは呼吸困難を出現させることなく、特に筋に十分な過負荷を与えることで効果的な筋力・持久力増大をもたらすことが示唆され, 今後呼吸リハビリテーションの新しいツールになると考えられた。
