| Research Abstract |
本研究では育児期の母親を対象に、IT(Information Technology)利用とインフォーマルサポートネットワーク、家族との関係について、日米でのインタビュー調査ならびに日本での質問紙調査を実施した。その結果、日米比較では、米国の母親は広い範囲で育児に関するオンライン・ネットワークを作っている一方、日本の母親は地域や実際のつながりに基づいてITを人とのコミュニケーションの道具として利用していることが示された。首都圏在住の育児期の母親を対象にした質問紙調査では、IT利用が母親の年齢、夫・両親・友人とのコミュニケーション、夫婦関係、親との関係、育児感情と関連があることが明らかになった。
